SoftTech Engineers Limited, a software product innovation company which caters to the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (“AEC”) verticals has successfully implemented its AutoDCR® software as part of Uttar Pradesh Online Building Plan Approval System (UPOBPAS). The application has gone live at Lucknow development authority (LDA) and the first building plan was processed in the first week of September 2019. A big achievement for SoftTech Engineers Limited, as it is the first step towards state wide implementation of AutoDCR® in UP, meeting requirements of EODB (Ease of Doing Business). It was also reported that 48 reputed architects have heartily applauded the launch of UPOBPAS. With UPOBPAS active, the architect/citizen/developer has to login to portal and submit application for a specific project along building drawings drafted as per stipulated protocol in UPOBPAS. Once building plan are uploaded, the software automatically reads the drawing plans, check for submission formats and generates a scrutiny report to highlight any problem or approval of plan. The system being software based automated scrutiny building plans, will help in reducing time for plan approvals, thereby giving a fillip to overall development in the city of Lucknow.
